Two Silly Goats Bedtime story
Once, in a small village lived two goats. These two goats were very proud goats and stubborn as well. One day, they felt that they should cross together the narrow bridge over a river. So, they wanted to cross at the same time. The bridge was actually so narrow that only one goat could cross at a time.
The first goat started from one end, and the second goat started from the other. They met at the middle of the bridge. Neither wanted to go back to let the other pass first.
"I will not move!" said the first goat.
"Neither will I!" said the second goat.
They started pushing and shoving one another to force their way across. The bridge was narrow, and before long both goats lost their footing and tumbled into the river below.
The water was deep, and the current was strong. Two silly goats fought to swim, but pride had taken them into a dangerous situation. Eventually, they could climb out of the river, wet and exhausted.
After that day, both the goats learned that it was better to be humble and considerate rather than obstinate and proud. Both of them came to the conclusion that had they switched turns crossing the bridge, both could have crossed over safely.
